Alcotec 8Kg Uf
Ferments 8 kg of sugar in 25 litres of water in 8 days--gives nearly
20% alcohol Alcotec 8 got its name from the fact that it will ferment 8 kgs of sugar in a 25 litre solution. Alcotec 8 is a high alcohol Turbo Yeast producing 20% alcohol by volume in only 5 days - another “impossible” achievment from Alcotec. Temperature range is 12-24 C (54-75 F). The optimum temperature is just under 24 C (75 F), at lower temperatures fermentation will take more than 5 days and at higher temperatures, fermentation will stick and the result will be less alcohol. If you want to make 20% alcohol in higher temperatures, use Alcotec 48 instead. It will work fine but it will take more than 5 days. |

Alcotec 24 hour Turbo 6 Kg
of sugar in 25 litres of water in 24 hours Instructions: Pour 21 litres of 40 C (104 F) water into your fermenter. Add 6 kgs of sugar and mix well until completely dissolved. Then add 1 sachet of Alcotec 24 and stir for one minute. Leave to ferment in 20-30 C (68-86 F), optimum is 25 C (77 F). IMPORTANT: Do not use an airlock (you will understand the reason for this once you have seen the fermentation). |
